Thinkpad T60 - CPU upgrade

Hello everybody

I got a librebootet ThinkPad T60 with maxed out ram and wifi card running with Trisquel 8 (32bit.)

I also got a T7400 64Bit CPU and from what I can read online, the motherboard in the T60 supports this CPU.

My question is: Do I need to compile a custom version of libreboot to make it compatible with a 64bit CPU in the T60 or can I just change the CPU wihout reflashing libreboot?

My community friends flashed libreboot on 64-bit X60 series (also based on 945GM/ICH7M chipset) before. So libreboot should support 64-bit processors too.

So I dont need to compile a custom version of LibreBoot to make the T60 run with a 64bit CPU?
I just want to be sure before I disasemble the laptop.
