Trisquel 7: Can't shutdown as normal user

Hello guys,
I already posted this a while ago but I reckon this issue deserves its own thread. The problem is that I can't shutdown as normal user being on Trisquel-Mini 7. The ticket for this problem can be found here: http://trisquel.info/en/issues/12007
Is anyone having the same problem and knows how to fix it? Thank you very much.

I finally managed to find a solution for this issue. Writing the following in a terminal as root user solved the issue:
echo "session required pam_systemd.so" >> /etc/pam.d/lxdm
