Trisquel 8 only provides the old 0AD v0.20 (2016)

Trisquel 8 only provides the game 0AD v0.20 (2016), currently the latest version is v0.23 (2018).
Would it be possible to put it on the Trisquel repository ? (instead to have to get it from the repository of OAD project).

Forget the official repository, download the latest package from the project's website, and then follow the instructions to install it.

Is there any major improvement from 0.20 to the latest?
I have had repos version running in my laptop and I am quite pleased with it. So, I would just play that :)
