Everything runs fine except the atheros wireless card AR9285. I assume that must be a binary blob issue or something because it works with Ubuntu. Does anyone know about a workaround?

I figured it out. I upgraded to linux-libre 2.6.30 which has the ath9k driver. Everything works swimmingly now.
