Will anyone be at LibrePlanet to represent Trisquel? Maybe some people could plan something. Just a thought.
I was thinking about maybe having a table, with a couple of us in Trisquel T's, advertising Trisquel as a totally free os, and of course, giving away CD's. I really don't know what is allowed.
I hope we can do something!

Me, at least :)
I should be able to commit to this. If a few others can confirm I'll add the obligation to my schedule. Just send me an email (You can use the contact form; click my user name).
I just signed up for the mailing list. I was looking to find out about tickets. Are they available yet? I didn't see anything on the site.
If you're a FSF Member you don't need a ticket. afaik the "tickets" are the same price as a 1 year membership and include the membership so you could just sign up for that now and be covered.
I was thinking the ticket would be cheaper. It isn't a big deal although I was holding off on membership for a while. Limited resources! If you have any doubts I was running the office off a 1.5Mbps connection until the other day (not the web site/email/etc- that is co-located).
Even now the only reason we got 10Mbps is because we are working on an HD capable media center. It is very cool. Will post more on the main forum.
Ok- the next question is how will they know I'm a member?
:)
There is a lack of information on all this.
They also have a half price student membership. They send you a USB card with your member number on it, although I'm sure if you show up and say I'm name at domain and that address is in the member list they'll let you in.
I don't speak with any authority, I'm just guessing. The FSF is pretty good about responding to emails, you could email them and ask.
One last thing, I think they have a "monthly" memebership whereby you can spread the membership cost out over 12 months via Paypal and such.
I'm definitely not a student any longer although if you ask me for my undated student ID card I'll gladly show it. I did sign up for the 12 month plan. Makes it slightly easier. It is ineresting how if you go on the monthly plan your membership is autmoatically renewed after one year. If you pay it all up front you can select to not have it automatically renew. I think there was an option to turn it off later though.
Just wanted to say that registration is open, and that we check if you're a member based on the email address and name you give us when you register :)
Was one of the first people to register :)
Within the first 10 I believe.
Sadly I won't be able to go, but have a great time, everyone who is going.
Are you referring to the meet in Worcester Massachusetts on the 17th?
I'm hoping to attend. Rubin will be there, I think.
