Ubuntu GNU/Linux 12.04 ('Precise Pangolin') has reached its end of support by April 28, 2017. [1]

I would love to know:-
1. Whether the project still supports Trisquel GNU/Linux 6.0 (Codenamed 'Toutatis', based on Ubuntu GNU/Linux 12.04.) or has moved on with development of 'Belenos' and 'Flidas'?
2. What will happen to the bug reports filed against Trisquel GNU/Linux 6.0, if the support has been withdrawn?

The support is over. No more package update (in particular security fix). Bug reports are now ignored. You should update to Trisquel 7.

You should update to Trisquel 7.

Definitely.

But I am eagerly waiting for Trisquel GNU/Linux 8.0 (Codename: 'Flidas'), as MATE is my favourite Desktop Environment.

Do you know which version of MATE is used by the project?
