what's this (hardware) connection called?

Would you please help me identify the connection in this laptop computer? The harddrive's connection is SATA2. What's the input to the motherboard (?) called?

I attached a photo with a blue square on the connection that I'd like to identify.

Here it says: "Unlock the connector (red arrow) and disconnect the hard drive SATA cable from the motherboard" just above the attached picture.

The physical interface in the blue rectangle in the attached picture is called ZIF (zero insertion force). It's commonly used to connect motherboard and daughter cards. The type of the daughter card can be various. In your case, it's SATA hard drive connector card.

I cannot be sure whether this matches your case but I am getting what looks like what you are looking for when I use that query: zif AND ribbon AND cable (but not the phrase "zif ribbon cable") on various popular listings.
