Hi
OpenStreetMap has launchad a new web editor (using HTML5, no more
Flash!), meaning those of us using Trisquel can now contribute from the
browser with a very nice interface, in an efficient way.
All the details are here:
http://blog.openstreetmap.org/2013/05/07/openstreetmap-launches-all-new-easy-map-editor-and-announces-funding-appeal/
Cheers,
Fabian

I was not able to use it on OSM but found JOSM and I am testing now:
sudo aptitude install josm josm-plugins

OSM is the somewhat obscure abbreviation of OpenStreetMap. I keep
forgetting it and had to do an 'apt-cache search josm' to remind me
:-).

I think the new interface to edit OpenStreetMap.org is ID. But it is not
available for edition. Had to use JOSM.

All I had to do is activate ID editor on the user preferences on OSM! It
is working now.

Good news! I think OSM is a great project and would suggest everybody to try
1) using it
I think that the package marble is a pretty nice way of using OSM
2) editing it
I've used the package merkaartor so far
