Preliminary note: After upgrading from Trisquel 6 to Trisquel 7, I had to reinstall the system completely new via Live-CD (LVM encrypted now!) because of substantial start and graphics issues (low resolution and/or colored mud).
(probably because of a bad interaction of Kernel/ACPI/X.org/Gnome (GDM)/IBus/etc)
Anyway, after installing 'linux-image-generic-lts-belenos' r3.5.0.25.32+6.0trisquel1 (from Toutatis/main repository!) everything is hunky-dory but newer Kernel still have the described problems …
After installation of the package 'tkcvs' and the appropriate dependencies using the package manager, TKCVS cannot be started.
In the Terminal, the output is:
$ tkcvs
/usr/bin/tkcvs: 4: exec: wish: not found
What is to do?
[solved] You must install, in addition, 'tk8.6', afterwards still ---> 'tk' is neessary!
(in reverse order, or both together _unnecessary_ additional files are installed!)
Automatically closed -- issue fixed for 2 weeks with no activity.
