To this day I have had no issues and had not changed anything except adding the workspace preview to the gnome bar.
This morning I started the web browser and the process name on the gnome bar appears beside the button I clicked to start it, and the Gnome menu moved to the right.
After trying to fix it, it became a little "worse" but it is more usable (see image). now with each added process the gnome menu button moves across the bar as I start something. Previously, the home button and the browser button would move over too, they are now placed on the right, since I am not allowed to move them to the far left, where they were originally. The Gnome button is immovable from this strange "location" because each time I click to drag it, the menu opens.
Please put this one on hold, I did not discover the series of events required to cause this to happen.
I remembered about the ALT key to return it back
