Icedove was the Debian project's rebranded version of the Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail client. In February 2017, Thunderbird packages were reintroduced into the Debian repositories, and on April 20, 2017, the Icedove package in Debian Stable was de-branded back to Thunderbird.
icecat and icedove are both in the Trisquel 8 repo. They don't show up in Add/Remove Applications, but they can be installed using Synaptic, or in a terminal with 'sudo apt install icedove icecat'

Why is not IceCat part of Trisquel 8? Why didn't it replace Abrowser?

Yes I know that icecat is in the repo.
Well, Icedove comes pre-installed Trisquel 8 but not IceCat.
Trisquel 8.0 support ended in April 2021.
Please open a new issue in case it remains on the current supported release.
