One thing I noticed is that some of Michał's emails have two entries under the "References" header, whereas other users only have one entry. Possibly a bug in the Drupal/Mailman bridge. This seems to happen when Michał replies to a comment rather than the main post, which the examples provided seem to confirm.
I wonder if your Emacs mail editor can be changed to not include multiple entries under the References header?
