Help Installing Trisquel on Laptops

I have downloaded trisquel_5.5_amd64.iso
I want to install Trisquel 5.5 64 bit.
Is this possible with my system specs listed below?
I ran Ubunto 10.04 or 10.10 a wile ago installed from Wubi,
and I didn't experience any problems with graphics, WiFi, battery, or anything.
If so please tell me how, if not then why not.
I only have one hard drive in my laptop and 1 external one I can use for installing it.

The easiest way to find out is to put the ISO on a CD ("burning the image") or on a USB key (UNetbootin should handle it) and reboot. The live system will start (it does not touch your disk) and you can find out what works and what does not. You can then, if you wish, proceed to the installation. An icon on the desktop launches it.
I actually believe your system may perfectly work. The "usual" non-working parts are 3D acceleration (but you use an Intel chipset, which is perfectly handled by Linux-libre) and Wifi (but I believe your card has a chipset that Linux-libre handles too). If you Wifi connection does not work, you can buy a working device at ThinkPenguin.com that guarantees that everything they sell perfectly works with Linux-libre (hence with any 100% free GNU/Linux system such as Trisquel) and, using the previous link, that donates 25% of the benefits on your purchase to the Trisquel project.
You seem to be worrying about the architecture: 64 bits is correct given your processor.

chipset should be too. There could still be other issues... although less
likely. There are some 10/100/100 ethernet chipsets which rely on non-free
firmware. There are also some sound cards which are not compatible. Again
these are less common.
Usually the sound cards that aren't compatible will eventually become compatible. That was at least the case with my laptop, where sound wasn't supported in Trisquel 4.1, but was in 4.5.

You can completely wipe Microsoft Windows Home Premium during the installation process. It will wipe all other data as well.
In the event you delete it first you won't have access to a working system should you run into trouble installing Trisquel. This may be less of an issue if you are using Trisquel because it is libre (free). As such a user you are saying you won't use non-free software. Taken to the extreme that would mean you should not use Microsoft Windows to order replacement parts should they be needed.
If you are in the US/Canada you can order free software compatible parts by phone: 1-888-39-THINK(84465). You might be able to get through from outside North America although I'm not 100% positive. It is a toll-free number within the US/Canada.
