I'm coming from debian, i usually use netinst iso, and during the installation i will choose the DE. I'm now switching to trisquel, there is any way to chose the DE before the installation? I prefear to install just one DE, but on download page seem i have to chose and install MATE or LXDE first and then install another DE.
Is it possible?

If you did not see it, the NetInstall ISO is behind the "More" link on https://trisquel.info/download

After booting in your installed system (only text sessions for a NetInstall) you can use 'sudo apt install' to install whatever you want, including the "xfce4" and/or the "gnome" (or maybe only "gnome-core") meta-packages. For instance:
$ sudo apt install gnome-core

See https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/installing-gnome-shell

https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/installing-xfce has not been updated since the release of Trisquel 8. Maybe you can take care of that.

If I remember correctly (long time since I installed it) there is an option to choose you DE during the installation of the netinst...
If this is proven not to be entirely true, do as usual and use 'apt-get', as suggested by Mr. Banana.
