Linux From Scratch - libre

I know this isn't a Trisquel question, but I'm currently going through the Linux From Scratch guide to build my own system, as it seems like fun and I'm interested to learn more about what goes on 'under the hood' of GNU/Linux.

Obviously, I want to make it without non-free software, so I'm planning to switch out the regular linux kernel for linux-libre. I'll also check that each software package I compile/install is in the FSF's directory and substitute them for libre versions if they're not.

Will that qualify as libre, or is there anything else I need to do? :-)

Yes, it will be free. But, if you distribute it to others, you may want to make sure no programs or documentation point to or suggest proprietary software.

Also, you may want to check out Parabola and Debian's patches. Some free software compiles with proprietary parts by default.

I made a LFS Fully free as in freedom. https://desarrollo.eluniversomela.ga/source/melaos/

(Linux package is Linux-Libre)

I remember you that is only a LFS and if you want to install it you must follow Gentoo Installation docs. (i also remember you edit fstab).

jhalfs package is the free software that i have used partially to build this LFS.

As far as I can see, LFS seems to have pretty good instructions for compiling the kernel, editing fstab and making the system bootable, after the source packages have been compiled/installed. Is there something it is missing?

Some partitions showed into fstab are hidden but, when you boot the LFS they will be mounted from fstab.
