Disabled 'referer' in Abrowser breaks some logins, including launchpad.net

network.http.sendRefererHeader is set to 0 in Abrowser which prevents a user from loging into some websites, like launchpad.net

Changing it to 1 will probably be the best solution.

0 – Disable referrer.
1 – Send the Referer header when clicking on a link, and set document.referrer for the following page.
2 – Send the Referer header when clicking on a link or loading an image.

and if you changed that, it is better to change network.http.sendSecureXSiteReferer to 1 to make connections https and not http.

What I do is change it to 2 (which is the default in Firefox) and install this addon: https://trisquel.info/en/browser/addons/referrer-control, which by default sends referers only on the same domain (which suffices for Launchpad)

This should be fixed in the latest maintenance of Abrowser. See https://trisquel.info/en/forum/there-system-wide-http-proxy-set-trisquel-7#comment-60752
