The "install extension" link on the wiki-page for the Abrowser addon "Random Agent Spoofer" not working for me

It gives me the error message:

"The add-on downloaded from this site could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt"

Should this wiki-page be updated?

So that whole wiki page is best removed then?

Can you link to the page in question?

Pardon me, I could have been more precise in describing where I was finding all this issues (I have posted three posts about the same issue, but three different wiki-pages).

Anyway:
https://trisquel.info/en/browser/addons/random-agent-spoofer (this is the link for this post)

these are the other two where the install link does not work for me:

https://trisquel.info/en/browser/addons/self-destructing-cookies

https://trisquel.info/en/browser/addons/disconnect

Yes for Random Agent Spoofer and Self-Destructing Cookies. For Disconnect, on the other hand, the install link should be corrected: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/file/621553/latest.xpi

Still doesn't work for me :/

What is that link you linked btw? When I open it I come to blank page where I get a notification saying that Abrowser prevented that site from asking you to install software.

Don't you have a pop-up asking you to "allow" the installation? The extension comes from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/disconnect/

"Allow" was quietly accepted and rejected.

I'm sorry I don't quite understand what you're telling me.

So the install link on the Disconnect wiki page should be corrected, yes?

Oh right! I understand!

Haha I misinterpreted you, I understand.

Those two wiki pages should be removed, but the Disconnect wiki page should be corrected with the link you gave now :)

Cheers!

I updated the link to the file (on the wiki page: https://trisquel.info/en/browser/addons/disconnect and also for https://trisquel.info/en/browser/addons/random-agent-spoofer ).

Thank you. However Random User-Agent is not a continuation of Random Agent Spoofer. It is an alternative. The projects are separate but Random Agent Spoofer is no longer developed and does not work on Firefox (and derivatives, including Abrowser) 57 or later.
